2. Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:
a) freedom of conscience and religion;
b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;
c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and
d) freedom of association.
The charter extends the freedom of the press, media and communications to individuals and not to institutions, this means (though it hasn't been tested much yet) That as a blogger you have all of the same freedoms and protections of assame Canadian news organization.
